This story started with a 31st birthday–Scott Harrison's, founder of charity: water. On October 10, I am fortunate to be turning 31.
Millions of people don't live to see their 5th birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe water.
Help me celebrate my birthday with the gift of water. Every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund freshwater wells in developing nations. Even better, every dollar is "proved" when the projects are complete, and photos and GPS coordinates are posted using Google Earth.
My goal is to raise $310 by my birthday, or in the month following. Please consider helping me make this year (10/10/10!) special.
