On July 27th, I'm turning 34. I've always loved birthdays and think it's important to celebrate another year of life.

At 34, I have a pretty great life and honestly don't need a single thing. I realize how lucky I am to be able to say that so I decided to celebrate my birthday in a new way this year...

A billion people in the world are living without clean water - but how much are they really living? Millions contract deadly diseases from contaminated water. 45,000 people will die this week alone. The lucky ones won't, but still walk hours each day to get dirty water to give to their families.

My birthday wish this year is to give clean and safe drinking water to some of the billion living without it. Instead of birthday gifts, you can help make my birthday wish come true by making a donation. Any amount will help me meet my goal of $5000, which is the cost of building one freshwater well.

I think this is going to be a great way to kick off 34!
