Hello Friends,

With my birthday fast approaching, I've been thinking about the best way to celebrate this past year of my life. A year shared with an amazing group of family, friends and colleagues that I am incredibly thankful for.

My answer came while listening to a recent talk by Scott Harrison, the founder of charity:water: donate your birthday and give clean water to people who need it.

I have been lucky enough to never have to worry about clean drinking water. Every day, 5,000 kids die from water-related illnesses before they reach their fifth birthday in developing countries. Charity:water is working to solve this problem and I am inspired by their efforts.

So in lieu of gifts or celebrations, this year I'm hoping you can help in my efforts to raise funds as 100% of every dollar you donate to my birthday campaign will be used to build clean water projects in developing countries.

My goal is to achieve $810 (my birth date) by end of the month -- $2, $10 or $20 whatever you can spare as every little bit helps! Thank you very much for your support :)
