Picture this scenario...
A man and leader, his wife and children, his brothers and sissters, his freinds and companions, standing before an army of 33,000 men.
This group of 73 were brutally murdered, tortured and forced out of their homes..but worst of all...they were denied water.
Within 10 days many died of weakness and dehydration, a baby of six months was killed after being presented to the army for some water, due to his extreme thirst...
This child was the leader's youngest son, this leader sacrificed his life, family and freinds and suffered the pains of thirst and starvation...
His name, Hussain, the event, Ashura, the reason, oppression, injustice and crime.
Hussain has inspired us to relieve the suffering of those who live the water poverty today...
Be inspired and help us reach our targed by 27/12/09 to contribute towards the building of a new well somewhere its needed.
