Hello!

Every year I have a birthday, and every year people ask me "What do you want?" Every year I get some awesome stuff from people I love, and dozens of facebook notifications, people acknowledging my turning a year older. I am so grateful to have amazing people in my life, and every year my birthday is a very special and happy day.

This year, however, I'm doing things a little differently. I've decided to give my birthday away for charity.

We are all so lucky to live where we do, with the resources that we have. The idea of not having access to clean water really is baffling. Sadly, it's the reality to millions of people in developing nations. I don't like that. And I'd bet you don't either.

Charity: Water gives people the opportunity to do something awesome. Instead of getting me a present, or a phone call from overseas, or drink at the pub, I ask you to give the money you may have spent on me to this great cause.

We all deserve clean water. The fact that we can go to a tap and get a glass shouldn't stop us from helping the countless people who can't.
