Hello Dear Friends and Fam,

So, it's that time of year again ... my birthday is right around the corner and wow, I'm turning XX!!!! (a lady never tells lol)

Since life is full of love and happiness and I am not wanting for anything, I thought it would be great to celebrate by giving back a little.

I've set up an account with charity: water and am asking those nearest and dearest to me to make a donation (if you chose) in lieu of giving me anything personally.

I was very moved by a presentation I saw last August from the founder of charity: water and thought the concept of pledging your birthday to provide clean water for a whole town possibly, was a very simple and elegant way to make a bit of a difference.
