Up until now, all of my birthdays have always been about me. But for some reason, this year things are different. Here recently I have been asking myself "What have I really done with my life that has impacted someone else, other than myself"? I have had such a strong drive to stand up and start helping others in need, and I need your help. It's time to make a change.

I have decided that this year, I'm giving my birthday up.

I'm turning the BIG 21 on June 1st, and instead of asking for anything, I'm asking for $21 or however much you want to give from everyone I know. This money is not going to me, though. All of the money we raise will be going to supply and build freshwater wells for people in developing nations.

Over a billion people in the world are living without clean water. But to be honest, I have to question how much are they really getting to live? Millions of these people contract deadly diseases from the contaminated water they drink. 45,000 people will die from this cause; THIS WEEK alone.

My one and only birthday wish this year is not for me to receive anything; it's for you to donate to help give clean and safe drinking water to some of the billion living without it. I truly want to make my birthday matter this year.

This campaign will end on June 3, 2011, so we have 94 days to make this happen!!
