i'm so so excited. i never really know what i want for my birthday- but this year i do: for my 26th birthday i want to try and give 26 people access to clean water.

and i would .l o v e. your help!

it only costs about $20 to give 1 person access. thats changing a life- for $20. in case you didnt hear me- i said a LIFE can be completely changed, with just TWENTY dollars.
thats about as much as you'd spend at...say...a birthday dinner.

but guess what! you aren't getting invited to a birthday dinner- because i'm not going to have one. so you don't have to worry about that!
i dont need presents. i dont need a birthday dinner.
but.
people --need-- water.

a little info (or skip this part and watch the vid):
-all funds are going to build freshwater projects for people in developing countries.
-almost a billion people in the world are living without clean water.
-millions contract deadly diseases from contaminated water.
-30,000 people will die this week alone.

my original intent was to go to africa myself and help on a water project. but ill be going next year instead (so stay tuned for fundraising requests next year!)

but i'm so excited knowing that from afar i can still make a difference when it comes to giving people access to water- something that has been on my heart for several years.
