Lutheran Church of the Resurrection thanks Pastor Kevin Jones for his many years of service.

Pastor Kevin Jones no longer serves at Resurrection. In August of 2014 he was called to Trinity Lutheran Church in Mason City, Iowa.

In his time at Resurrection Kevin and his family were blessed by the people of the congregation and the Marion community. While this might sound like an obituary it is not. Kevin is still very much alive and will happily join you for a cup of coffee or something stronger to prove it to you. Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean! Pastor Kevin has asked that any monetary gifts be given to charity: water to help bring clean water to communities in Ethiopia.

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
