Just finished making my profile here and I am ready to start my very first water campaign with a starting goal of $5,000!
Why donate? 2 big reasons...
4,500 kids die a day from water related disease and 1.5 billion people on our earth don't have access to clean drinking water. Watch the video to the right to see just how bad it is.
Villagers sometimes have to walk miles and miles on end just to reach a water supply, and even when they reach their destination, the long distance doesn't grant them clean water, because the only water they have access to is muddy and contaminated.
Giving a community freshwater causes a ripple affect: in addition to helping with cooking and hygiene, you're giving the community a fighting chance to escape poverty and improve their lives.
