Did you know about 1.8 billion people in the world drink water from a contaminated source, according to WHO statistics from June 2015? That's a quarter of the current world population. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. The paradox in this situation is that, most of these people are literally sitting on top of the solution to their problems. Most of these communities lie over groundwater reservoirs that could solve their water problems forever. What's stopping them? The lack of funds to dig wells or rainwater harvesting systems

For my 21st birthday coming up in a couple months, I really want to make a difference in the lives of such people. I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.

I don't want gifts, dinners or people to buy me legal drinks for my 21st; help me celebrate by donating to my cause! I'm ideally looking for $21 for my 21st birthday, but really, any amount matters and can make a huge difference in the lives of the less fortunate!

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
