On October 9th, I'm turning 26. And this year, I don't want presents or money. I want clean water.
People all over the world don't have water close to them, let alone in a faucet. For example, women and children in Rwanda walk for hours every day, up and down mountains, just to collect water from rivers. And the worst part? The water they collect can make them really sick.
That really makes you think about all of the conveniences in your own life, right? Well, we can actually do something about this problem. Just $65 can give someone in Rwanda clean water.
So I'm asking everyone for donations toward this cause. Give $10 or $100, or whatever you're able and help me give life's most basic need.
The best part is that 100% of the money we raise will directly fund water projects in Rwanda, and when those projects are complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the impact we made. I can't think of a better birthday gift. Join me!
