Back at it again and ringing in my 32nd birthday by bringing 32 of our neighbors across the globe delicious, life-saving, economy-boosting, women-empowering, education-boosting water!!

Y'all know me, I don't usually ask for presents, but I do love a good drink with good folks. So, instead of sharing a celebratory birthday brew or two with me, donate what a beer (or more!?) would cost you towards this charity : water campaign! This year is the biggest goal yet at $1280. In past campaigns, you've already helped me raise over $5000 (!!!!!!!) that has gone directly to communities in Madagascar, Malawi, Ethiopia, Uganda, and Niger, and I can't wait to see what we can accomplish this year.

Why water? It's simple. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. It's a staggering fact that nearly 663 million people in the world live without clean water, which is about 1 in 10 people worldwide - or, twice the population of the United States. Beyond simply endangering lives, not having access to clean water means a direct impact on education and income - especially for women and kids. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world - all of which charity : water helps to implement!

Again!? Round 7!? A lot of folks ask me why I continue to fundraise for this organization, and that is because I can proudly say that 100% of the money donated will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped. It's SO. FREAKIN'. AWESOME! And it really takes so freakin' little from us to make it happen.
