I guess I'm turning 30 this year.

I was thinking about what I would want for my birthday this year and I couldn't think of anything. There is nothing I am lacking for in my life, certainly nothing material. I realized that I only have two wishes for my birthday: I would like to spend it with the people I love, and I would like to leave a positive mark on this world for it.

Simple wishes are easy to make true. This year I am only doing two things for my birthday: I am inviting you to a party so that I may celebrate the lives of the people who I care about, and I am asking those that are able to make a donation to charity: water to help support clean drinking water for people who don't have it to do so in place of considering a present for me.
