Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But 785 million people don’t have access to clean water.

Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

Rather than a birthday present I don't really need, please let's raise some money that will make a huge difference to some people who really need help. Please do not feel obliged to donate, I certainly won't be offended. If you can afford to donate something let's do this anonymously so there is no sense of competition between donors. Any small amount will be a positive change in the world and that can only be a good thing. If we can get to £200 (and of course I will be donating also) then 6 people will get clean water and I think that is incredible!

100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped. Thank you so much, big love to you all x
