Every day, 1,400 kids under the age of 5 die from water-related illnesses. Let's help change that!
Well everyone, the rumors are true: On the 30th of this month, I will be turning 30 years old. So, that being the case, I wanted to do something special for the big 3-0, but in a unique way. I want to make a positive change in the lives of those in need. For my birthday this year, I am asking for all of my Facebook friends to partner with me to raise funds for an awesome organization called charity: water, which as the name alludes to, helps deliver clean water to remote villages in need. They help set up a birthday campaign where you can dedicate your birthday towards clean water projects. So instead of a card or a drink for my birthday, a small donation of $1, $5, $10 or whatever you feel like giving would be TREMENDOUSLY appreciated for a cause that I am a big believer in. Also, if you are seeing this message, it means you have been a part of my life, big or small, near or far, past or present, during my 30 years here on earth, and for that I am thankful.
Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 21 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped!
Happy Birthday Matt.
Sorry this is late...but happy birthday bro!
Happy Birthday!!
