This year I'm celebrating my birthday differently. I don't want presents or drinks. I want clean water.

Women and children around the world walk hours every day to collect water for their families. And the worst part? The water they collect can make them really sick. Terrible right? Well, we can actually do something about it. Just $20 can give a person clean water to drink.

The best part is that 100% of the money we raise will directly fund water projects around the world, and when those projects are complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the impact we made. I can't think of a better birthday gift.

Further: Won't you consider doing this same campaign on YOUR birthday? Next to air, water is the most important thing for life. It is a crime and a shame that one in seven people on this planet does not access to clean water.

There are many worthy projects we can donate to. I have chosen this one as it speaks directly to my heart.

All the admin is taken care of, so 100% of my donation goes to the project. I can feel confident that I am making a difference in the world.

Charity: water is one of the most leveraged ways to help others. We all want to help...it is built into the human psyche. We get turned off because, yes, truth be told, there ARE a lot of charlatans out there.

Not only that, there are a lot of legitimate charities where a huge chunk of the donations go to administration.

Don't even get me started on talking about those charities where the "CEO's" are pulling down six figure incomes!

Charity: water has ALL of its admin taken care of by wealthy donators, so all of OUR money goes directly to the project.
