There are 800 million people in the world living without access to clean water. Let's change that.

Hello 2-4! I am so excited to be another year older, and to ring in this year with some of the most amazing and caring human beings I have ever met.

Most birthday gals will probably ask for free drinks, or jewelry, or whatever else they can think of as a birthday gift (more free drinks). But I can buy my own drinks, guys! And I'm lucky that I'm able to do that - I can buy bottled water, or a rum and coke, or whatever I please - and that drink is always clean and safe to drink.

There are many families, however, that don't. That's where we come in.

I'm asking for my age in dollars from everyone I know. Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Charity: Water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 21 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.

So, instead of buying me two of those $12 drinks at my birthday party, donate that money here! This is the only gift I need, (and most likely) the only gift I'll accept. :)
