Have you ever said “I'm so thirsty I think I am going to die!”?
I know I have, and you probably have too, but we don't really think that there are people on this planet who actually are dying from thirst. More than 2,500 children are dying each and every day from not having clean drinking water. This is roughly the size of Baton Rouge Magnet High School's student population. Together we can make a change in the world and provide people with something that shouldn't be a luxury; clean drinking water. For my Senior Project, I decided to sell t-shirts and donate the proceeds to charity: water, a charity committed to bringing clean water to Africa.
But I decided to go beyond a grade for a school project because clean drinking water for those who can't get it is more important. So to my friends and family that are reading this: I would appreciate it more than anything if you donated anything you could for this great cause, weather it is donating a few dollars online or buying a shirt from me during the week of January 28 for my Senior Project for $10 each.
