Hi everybody,

This is a big year and I've done a lot of soul searching, which has lead me on quite the journey of self-discovery. I've even found some answers! Now, I know what I want. And this year, I don't want presents or drinks. I want clean water.

You can help fulfill my birthday wish. Just donate $1 for every year. On December 2nd, I'm turning 40!

We should all be able to have basic rights, clean and safe drinking water being one of them. charity:water is an amazing organization that uses 100% of the money donated to directly fund water projects across the globe.

By securing grants for their operating costs, they are able to achieve this incredible mission. Additionally, they are able to provide full accountability of every dollar raised and can show to which projects the funds are applied.

When a project is completed, charity:water provides a report of the community helped, including pictures and GPS showing you exactly where your dollars went. In doing so, they have harnessed the power of social media to connect us with our humanitarian efforts.
