I will be turning 30 this year and wanted to do something special for my birthday.
I recently stumbled across an article about charity:water and the great work they are doing oversees. I already knew that some kids in the world quit school to fend for their families. But then I found out that hundreds of thousands of children aren't able to attend school- not because they had to work or because of money - but because they spent their days walking miles for water.
It's a basic human need = and more than a billion people on the planet don't have access to it.
I'm on a mission to change this. I'm asking you and anyone you know to donate so we can fund water wells in developing countries. 100% of every dollar we raise goes to water projects, and when projects are complete, all are "proved" using GPS technology and photos and posted on Google Earth. I want to raise $5,000 - that's enough to give 250 families clean water nearby. That's a lot of kids back in school.
With our support, these kids can have a chance.
Please join me in helping. In honor of my birthday, I am asking for donations of $30, however, every penny counts so please donate as much or as little as you want.
