Everyday someone in a developed country has access to water but there are still 748 million people who don't.

My birthday has just passed. I'm not usually excited about getting older, but this year I'm really thankful to have lived another happy, healthy year. I recently learned that millions of kids around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. We can help change that.

So, for my bat mitzvah I decided to raise money in honor of these kids who are not as lucky as me. I decided to obtain this money by doing a bake sale. That way, it will be a win, win. The buyers would get pastries, and the kids in these countries would get life.

Thanks to all my generous donors, I was able to raise a lot of money for this cause.
