Every day, 5,000 kids under the age of 5 die from water-related illnesses. Help me change that for my birthday!

My birthday is almost here. I'm not usually excited about getting older, but this year I found a new way to celebrate and be thankful to have lived another happy, healthy year. Millions of kids around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. We can help change that.

I'm asking for a contribution as a birthday present from everyone I know. You can go from as little as buying me a coffee, to giving as many dollars / euros as my age this year, or as many as the happy years you wish I go on living ! ;)
Every cent of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will show us exactly which projects we funded once they've been fully completed (which takes about 18 months). That means we'll know the locations and names of the communities we helped.

Si avvicina il mio compleanno. Di solito non mi entusiasma l'idea di invecchiare di un altro anno, ma quest'anno ho trovato un nuovo modo di festeggiare ed essere grata per l'anno appena trascorso. Milioni di bambini nel mondo non arrivano a festeggiare il quinto compleanno perchè non hanno accesso ad acqua pulita e potabile. Possiamo dare una mano per cambiare questa situazione.

Chiedo a tutti quelli che conosco di contribuire a questa campagna come regalo di compleanno per me. Potete donare l'equivalente di un caffè, o tanti dollari / euro quanti sono gli anni che compio, o gli anni felici che mi augurate di vivere ancora! ;)
Ogni centesimo dei soldi raccolti andranno direttamente a finanziare progetti per acqua potabile in paesi in via di sviluppo. L'organizzazione charity : water ci mostrerà con precisione quali progetti avremo contribuito a finanziare appena saranno stati completati (di solito ci vogliono 18 mesi). Quindi sapremo i luogi e i nomi delle comunità che avremo aiutato.
