This year is my Bat Mitzvah! I'm pretty excited about it. I'm also pretty grateful.
That's because I found out that hundreds of thousands of children can't attend school because they spend their days walking miles for water.
Clean drinking water is a basic human need and 800 million people on the planet don't have access to it.
I'm on a mission to change this. Instead of supporting me with Bat Mitzvah gifts or money, I'm asking you and anyone we know to donate so we can fund water projects in developing countries. 100% of every dollar we raise goes toward project costs. And when the projects are finished (about 18 months), charity: water will show us the exact communities they helped.
Together we can give the gift of clean water and help kids spend more time in school!
