Update (9/25) Although I've reached my goal, and being so close to $2,000, reaching a goal of $3,000 can get 100 people clean water. Can we get as close to that as possible? This campaign has opened my eyes to so much; I am incredibly grateful to know so many good people!

Updated (8/25): Thank you so much to EVERY single person who has given to my campaign so far. I'm incredibly humbled to be loved by such giving people. We reached my goal of $500 on 8/21! In the next 35+ days can we reach $1000?!

I cannot be thankful enough for all of the opportunities I have, blessings I get and the love I am constantly surrounded with. There are very few things I post about on Facebook and usually when I do...it's about 'giving,' especially if I see something that I know I believe in giving to and do contribute to myself.

Many know that moving to NYC this year has changed my life in many ways. One of those changes has been my involvement with volunteering with charity: water on several occasions; I have since felt like part of the charity: water family! 100% of the proceeds go to getting people clean water. [Also, those observing Ramadan know how difficult it is abstaining from drinking water...and millions don't have a choice, let alone access to CLEAN water.] I decided to donate my birthday this year and hope you can contribute, even if it's $1 (it's tax deductible). I will forever be thankful and will be wishing the blessings of what you contributed back to you 10-fold!

Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.

I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
