Did you know that every day, around 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation? I was thinking about how lucky I am to not only have clean water, but to have a good education and be healthy. I even get presents on my birthday! I thought about which I would rather have: material items or the knowledge that I made a change in others' lives. This year, I decided to donate my birthday so that it not only is a time for celebration, but actually makes a meaningful difference in the world.

By donating money, you can make a difference and save lives. Even the smallest amount will help. Please help me reach my goal of $600, which will provide clean water for twenty people. If it doesn't seem like much, imagine if YOU were one of those twenty people. This could mean the difference between life or death for some. There are simple solutions that can change this for those unlucky communities who suffer from lack of clean water.
