Every day, 1,400 kids under the age of 5 die from water-related illnesses. Let's help change that!
Imagine you had tons of water, but none of it was clean. Imagine having to drink, cook and clean with that water -- knowing that it would make your family sick.
But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand Filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world. We started this campaign to help charity: water fund a clean water project in Ethiopia and we need your help.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped in Ethiopia.
This is our 8th year to participate in Advent Conspiracy, a movement to conspire for Christmas and against consumerism. Americans spend around $500 billion dollars on Christmas each year. That's about $600 hundred dollars per person.
At Neighborhood Church, this Christmas we desire to spend less money in an effort to give more. We give more of ourselves through relational gifts, give more resources in love to those around the world, and give more worship to our Savior, Jesus.
