Why Neighborhood Church is fundraising for clean water

Every day, 1,400 kids under the age of 5 die from water-related illnesses.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections, and BioSand Filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world. We started this campaign to help charity: water with their "Greatest Need Fund," but we can't do this on our own. Please join us.

100% of the money will be used to provide clean water access in areas urgently in need of additional financial resources to finish water projects. Once the projects are complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.

This is our 9th year to participate in Advent Conspiracy, a movement to conspire for Christmas and against consumerism. Americans spend around $500 billion dollars on Christmas each year. That's about $600 hundred dollars per person. There are communities desperate for water. We can change that.

At Neighborhood Church, we desire to spend less money this Christmas in an effort to give more. We give more of ourselves through relational gifts, give more resources in love to those around the world, and give more worship to our Savior, Jesus.
