I have too much stuff. In fact we probably all have too much stuff. Even if a tiny percentage of the money we spend on things we don't need was redirected towards things that matter, we could all make the world a little bit better. I've chosen to raise $5,000 for charity: water.

I have been seriously reducing my possession count which has been very liberating! I've sold books, CDs, DVDs, artworks, clothes and anything else with value - $900 and counting. Aside from raising money, it's also helping me to see what really matters - friends, family and time to enjoy them. I am appreciating experiences more, not things :)

I have held a table quiz for 80 people that raised $1,920. A big thank you to everyone who attended and all those who donated prizes.

Next on the list is running 10k on 14th April. I'm hoping to do it in 60 minutes or less. I'll make sure to run extra fast so that I make all your donations worthwhile!

Lastly I am pledging my birthday gifts, asking for donations rather than gifts / dinners / lunches as I really don't need anything else!

Any donations are also gratefully appreciated - they will help to save and improve lives. A big THANK YOU to all you generous, altruistic people who have contributed to the campaign. Every $20 means clean, safe drinking water for one person.
