I have a love-hate relationship with birthdays. On one hand, they're a great time for celebration and reflection. Yet I've also found that taking an entire day to focus completely on myself is pretty depressing. God has created us to step beyond the mirror and seek to serve the people around us. As Americans, we have been entrusted with much so naturally, much is required of us.

I want to make my 24th birthday memorable by celebrating it with all of you through this charity water campaign. Water is absolutely critical for life. The number of children who don't live to see their 5th birthday because they don't have access to clean water is astounding. Actually, it's unacceptable.
