Art from the Heart started several years ago when Musse Barclay and several of his friends formed a weaving group and sold their weavings to raise money for clean water. It has evolved over time and is now an after school program in the Hockinson School District. Our one rule, make a piece of art for ourselves and we make a second one to sell at the annual holiday market. To date we have raised thousands of dollars for clean water around the world!
Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

Diseases from unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war. Your donation will help change that.

Private donors cover our operating cost so that 100% of all public donations can go directly to water project costs.
But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
We started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build these types of projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.
