Over 26million people in Tanzania lack access to water...

Water is something we take for granted, in fact we don't even think twice about it. When you have been running around and said 'I'm dying of thirst' I don't really think you have any idea… and neither do I.

Over 26million people in tanzania lack access to water. That's the entire population of Australia not being able to access water. 44million people lack access to basic sanitation such as toilets, thats 26 times the population of Perth.

I could rant on about these figures all day and many people hear these statistics, say how terrible it is, and then go on to live their everyday lives without doing a thing about it. However I insist on making somewhat of a difference be it big or small.

That is where I need YOUR help, to support me in what I am doing. In July, over the Term 2 holidays, I plan to climb Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and any money raised in sponsoring me to do so will go directly to charitywater, who work closely along side water aid.

The opportunity for me to climb Kilimanjaro was a birthday present which I had asked for instead of clothes, money or gifts. I have also donated my own money towards this cause and ask anyone else to help me reach my goal. Over the next few months, before I embark on my journey in July, I will be carrying around a sponsor sheet for anyone who wishes to sponsor me, as well as an envelope to collect money.
