Every day, 1,400 kids under the age of 5 die from water-related illnesses. Let's help change that!

Dear friends,

I recently attended a Tiger 21 business retreat on Necker Island and Scott Harrison from charity: water was one of the speakers. I learned that 748 million people on the planet don’t have access to clean, safe drinking water. That’s 1 in 9. Everyday 1,400 kids under the age of five die from water-related illnesses, and in Africa alone, people spend 40 billion hours every year walking for water.

So this year, I'm doing something about it.

On July 20th I turn 51, and this year I don't want gifts, I want to bring clean water to people in need around the world. I’m asking for my age in dollars from everyone I know, and everything helps.

It costs about $30 to bring clean water to one person and if we reach the goal of $25,000 we’ll be bringing clean water to a community in need and changing the lives of more than 170 people! Help me raise money for clean water by donating to my campaign.

What’s really cool about charity: water is that 100% of the money we raise will directly fund water project costs in the field, and once the projects have been completed (takes about 21 months) we'll get GPS coordinates and photos from the exact communities we impacted.
