My dear friends,
On September 14, I'm turning 25! Thanks so much if you are planning to celebrate with me ;)
Well, we have been spending so much on nice drinks, gourmet, clothing and entertainment... But do you know that women and children in Rwanda (盧旺達) in mid Africa walk for hours every day, up and down mountains, just to collect water from rivers? And the worst part is the water they collect can make them really sick. Terrible,...right?
That's why, my dear friend, please make my 25th birthday special, I want clean water as presents for 230 people in Rwanda.
So I'm asking everyone for my age in donations. Give US$25, US$250 or any amount that you are available for, and we can join hands to change the basic needs of the unprivileged.
The best part is that 100% of the money we raise will directly fund water projects in the Rwanda, and when those projects are complete, "charity: water" will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the impact we made. I can't think of a better birthday gift. Join me!
Thank you and cheers, :D
Peter
