It’s Phil. Thanks for taking the time to read this page. Charity: water is dear to Dina and I’s hearts, and we wanted to leverage our milestone birthday—both turning 30—to get clean water to more people. Our goal is for 30 people to give $30

WHY WATER?

Water is the most basic human need. Yet a staggering number of people don’t have access to clean water. Access to clean water isn’t a thought that crosses our minds in the U.S & Canada. Need water? Turn on the faucet. In fact, you can leave it on day and night if you want, and I’m pretty sure it will keep running indefinitely (can’t say I’ve tried it, but I have seen Home Alone). However, when there isn’t access to clean water, water becomes an all consuming chore. Imagine spending 2-3 hours every day getting water.

WATER CHANGES LIVES

I encourage you to do more research on your own, but access to clean water dramatically increases the quality of life. Health, education: the impossible are now possible.

WHY CHARITY: WATER?

100% of what you give goes directly to water. Administrative costs to running charity: water are all raised separately. Charity: water is committed to transparency.
