This Valentines - Spread the Love
From now until Valentine's day I will be fundraising for the non profit Charity:Water. An organization where 100% of donations go to fund getting clean and safe water to people in developing countries.
Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are simple solutions like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world.
Yesterday I started this fundraiser on my instagram and people like you started donating. I am now at $800!! I am collecting the money through my Venmo @Quinn-Donaldson but you can also donate directly here!
For Valentine's day instead of getting your loved ones flowers and candy, think about donating in their name instead.
"Hey Grandma, for Valentines day I donated $10 in your name to Charity:Water"
"Wow, Quinn, I love you so much more than your little sister Phoebe"
Kidding, of course but I would love if you considered giving any amount or feel free to share the love by sending the fundraiser to someone you know who might be interested.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects, and when they’re complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the exact community we helped.
