I recently found out that millions of people don't live to see their fifth birthdays. And why? Because they don't have access to clean, safe water.

So I'm celebrating my birthday like never before.

I know many of you wouldn't normally buy me a birthday present, but this is much better than that. This is an opportunity to join together to make a difference.

This year, I don't want any real gifts. Rather, I'm asking for $27 from everyone I know -- and every penny of the money raised will go directly to fund clean water projects in developing nations. If 27 people give 27 dollars we can provide access to clean water for 36 people!
