Clean Water is something that most of us in the developed world take for granted. It's inexpensive - almost free - and we use it for everything. But once I thought about I realized how lucky I am to live in a country where drinking from a tap isn't a dangerous proposition. I saw the charity: water ad on hulu.com and decided that this was a charity that was really worth getting behind. They put 100% of donations towards water projects in 3rd world countries and the results are searchable through Google Earth.
My Goal is $5,000.00 and I think it's attainable, so please give what you can. They suggest forgoing Birthdays / Other presents but all I'd ask is help out with whatever bit you can spare.
