Every day, 1,400 kids under the age of 5 die from water-related illnesses. Let's help change that!
We have been the recipients of lives born in the USA. We have indoor plumbing that allows us to cook, clean, and drink without giving it a second thought. Think about this - we turn on the tap in the house and safe, clean drinking water comes out. This is not the case in many places in the world.
I recently learned that millions of kids around the world don't live to see their fifth birthday because they don't have access to clean, safe drinking water. We can help change that.
I'm asking for my age in dollars from family, friends, and colleagues. Every penny of the money raised will directly fund clean water projects in developing countries. Even better, charity: water will provide project reports with GPS coordinates on Google maps and photos that detail how and where our contributions improve lives.
