Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. We have plenty of water to drink -- even the water in our toilets is clean!

But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation. But it doesn’t have to be that way. I started this fundraising campaign to help charity: water build clean water projects around the world, and I'm looking for anyone who can help me.

There are many steps that we can take to help out, and on my end I plan on sacrificing something near and dear to my heart: not only will I make a monetary donation to this charity, but should we reach our goal I will shave off my beard; not just a trim, no chinstraps, no side burns. I will get rid of my beard completely. It's been with me for years and honestly I don't even know what I look like under this any more, but with your help we can find out!

Is it a scary thought? Sure. But it's nothing compared to the thought of waking up every day not sure if you'll be able to get the clean water you need to survive.
