Ride for Water is a group of college students cycling across America to combat the global water crisis.

The campaign directly supports charity: water and their goal to end the global water crisis. Like charity: water, the Ride for Water team is a nonprofit entity. That said, the mission this year is to raise $80,000 for charity: water to bring clean water across the world. This summer, Ride for Water will be raising money and awareness by cycling across America, riding for the 663 million people around the world who do not have access to clean water.

Ride for Water began in 2012 when five college students learned about the global water crisis. Wanting to take action, they decided to bike across the United States to raise awareness and fundraise for clean water through charity: water. In May of 2013, the team departed on their journey, raising over $37,500 for clean water along the way. Every year since then, other teams have followed suit, continuing to expand, fundraise, and ride for clean water. Today, Ride for Water is a network of difference-makers that have collectively raised over $358,000 toward clean water projects — and they are not stopping anytime soon.
