We are a team of cyclists journeying from Seattle to New York City to raise funds and fight the water crisis.
In May 2014, we will embark on a cross-country cycling adventure, riding from Seattle to New York City to raise funds.
Almost a billion people lack of access to clean water. This can lead to disease, loss of education, and preventable death. While the situation is grim, it is not beyond hope. The water crisis is solvable!
Simple solutions, like drilled wells, spring protections and BioSand filters help provide clean water to communities that need it. The funds brought in through Ride for Water will help charity: water build these solutions around the world, but we need your help.
Each of us is paying for our own food and gear for the trip, which means 100% of your donation will go to charity: water. We depart from Seattle on May 13th, and are raising funds starting now until we arrive in New York City.
