My affinity towards charity:water's work started 10 years ago.
I kickstarted a partnership with them during my time at Cathay Pacific Airways, as the first airline to offer free flights to Asia for their HQ team in NY.
10 years later, I'm excited to be fundraising for them again, with my own two feet.
I know 100% money donated here will impact water projects directly. Having been to countries like Cambodia and Nepal, where poor access to clean water affects the wellbeing of women and children in vulnerable communities.
In Africa alone, women spend 40 billion hours a year walking for water. On average, women and children would walk 3.7 miles everyday to collect water, that will be equivalent of doing about 50 marathons a year!
Hence, any amount you can give would make a huge difference to those in need.
