goal
Many of us have no idea what it's like to be thirsty. But many people around the world don’t have that luxury. Every day, about 1,400 children die from diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation.
As we’ve prepared to welcome our new baby into the world, we’ve realized how easy it is to take all that we have for granted - the warm home to come home to after the hospital, the healthcare we have access to, diapers and wipes, and even most overlooked - water. We wanted to use our baby shower as a means to provide others with something they can’t go without: clean water. Instead of gifts, We would love for you to be part of our cause to raise $1k to be able to build to bring clean water to 50 people as a start.
100% of the money will be used to build clean water projects (they do not take ANY administrative or fundraiser fees from your donation). When they’re complete, charity: water will email photos and GPS coordinates of the well on Google maps so you can see the exact community you were a part of helping!
Anything you can give is a huge help! $5, $25 or $50 ! All your donations mean so much to us, and to those you are helping!
