On October 12, I'm turning 23. At first, this seemed surreal, even daunting. Twenty-three may not seem like a big number, but growing up, anything past 20 seemed ancient.

But then I found out that millions of people don't live to see their fifth birthdays. And why? Because they don't have access to clean, safe water.

Women and children in Rwanda walk for hours every day, up and down mountains, just to collect water from rivers. And the worst part? The water they collect can make them really sick.

Terrible right? Well, we can actually do something about it. Just $65 can give someone in Rwanda clean water.

So I'm asking everyone for my age in donations. Give $5 or $10 or what you can and help me give life's most basic need.
