Hi everyone! This December, I turn 20. I'm not too excited about getting older, but I'm glad to have lived another healthy year. I am blessed to have had access to clean, safe drinking water for the past 20 years of my life, but there are children and families around the world that walk miles and miles each day to collect water. The worst part is, most of the time this water is contaminated and infected with parasites that can make them seriously ill.

Safe drinking water is not a privilege; it is a right. And every human being should be provided for.

For my birthday, I don't want any presents. I want you to donate! I'm asking for my age in dollars ($20) from everyone I know, but feel free to donate any amount that you choose. Each and every penny makes a life-changing difference!

charity: water will donate 100% of every dollar you donate to my birthday campaign to water projects in developing countries. In about 18 months, charity: water will provide us with GPS coordinates as well as photos of the communities we've made a difference in. Watch the video below for more information!
