Corey and I are blessed with family and friends from far and wide. As a result, it didn't make much sense to try and throw a traditional bridal shower. Then I realized we might be able to do something even better.
What better way to throw a shower than with clean water?!
Our favorite Wyoming waters have crystal clear, cold runoffs from mountain snow. When we go fly fishing, we have clean rivers to visit with thriving trout. People around the world drink from rivers, but rarely are they as clean and safe as a Wyoming mountain stream.
This organization, Charity: Water, is a non-profit that brings water wells to developing countries worldwide. 100% of donations go directly toward water projects, not political goals.
Unsafe water is the #2 killer of children in the world. People spend 16 million hours per day hauling water from remote sources. Easy access to clean water means increased access to education, opportunity, food, and a better life for more people.
We've had plenty of opportunity to bring us to where we are today. We're about to embark on the next chapter of our lives, growing in our love together. So, I set our goal at $2013, for the year we'll be combining our own families.
Help me reach this goal and bring showers of clean water to more places in the world!
