This year I want to make my birthday matter. So, I'm giving it up.
I don't want cards or presents or a vacation. I want clean water.
Just $20 can provide clean water for one person. $450 can provide an entire household with three water taps: one in the kitchen, bathroom and shower.
IMAGINE that.
For my birthday, I'm asking for my age in dollars, but really, any amount you are willing to give would be appreciated. 100% of the money we raise will directly fund water projects in the small villages of Orissa, India. When those projects are complete, charity: water will send us photos and GPS coordinates so we can see the impact we made.
