My parents have always inspired my family to give back to the community. Their recent work in supporting well projects in Africa coupled with some personal work on fighting the cause for clean drinking water has inspired new action.
Donate my birthday to Charity:Water.
Charity:Water is an incredible charity where 100% of your donations will go directly to villages in Africa to help build wells.
Why is it important to reverse the water health burden? 80% of all diseases are water born and water health is one of the largest killers of children.
While I love a good drink or cupcake on my birthday, donate to Charity:Water instead.
My goal is a $1,000 which will help with 1/5 of the funding of a well for a village (at $5000).
