Hi Everyone! This year I will be turning 20 on September 11, 2010. Instead of presents and all that jazz one usually receives on his or her birthday, I ask you to help donate money to my campaign for the people in need all over the world. All of your donations will be going to build freshwater wells for people in developing nations.

A billion people in the world are living without clean water - but how much are they really living? Millions contract deadly diseases from contaminated water. 45,000 people will die this week alone. The lucky ones won't, but still walk hours each day to get dirty water to give to their families.

My goal is to reach $5,000 which is able to create one well and will pump clean water for 250 people. That is 250 lives you can help save.

My birthday wish this year is not for more gifts; I don't need all those material things. All I ask for is to give clean and safe drinking water to some of the billion living without it. I want to make my birthday matter this year. I took the step at donating first - I hope you will do the same :)
